Learning - YOUR WAY
We offer in-person tutoring in the comfort of your own home if you live in a close radius to Sevenoaks, Kent (i.e. Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells, Orpington, Maidstone, Southborough, etc.), or even in settings such as cafes or libraries if you prefer. You can't learn if you're not in a comfortable environment!
With Mrs Jones you can learn from anywhere, using your computer, tablet or mobile phone if you're outside of the Sevenoaks area. Our tutoring is interactive and practical. All you need is a Wi-Fi connection, notebook and pen (and sometimes a calculator)!

Lizzie has nearly 10 years of experience tutoring Mathematics, 5 years teaching Secondary Mathematics, and has many qualifications and more recent certificates of continued professional development.

Our expert virtual/in-person teaching and learning techniques enable pupils to target their individual needs and effortlessly collaborate with me in a safe space. Independent work set by schools will is not always sufficient for optimal growth – I believe that children work best with a blend of face-to-face teaching, explanations, interaction and collaboration to build confidence and knowledge.

1-2-1 Online Tutoring
One Off Online Sessions
£45 for up to 30 minutes
£60 for up to 60 minutes
One off sessions are designed to be booked at short notice, it’s never too late to ask for help!
1-2-1 Packages
Sessions typically last between 45-60 minutes depending on the content to be covered, student needs, and overall progress. Sessions can be purchased as a package, and then conducted on a fortnightly, weekly or bi-weekly basis.
Every student will receive a welcome pack PDF and tutoring contract prior to their first session, and all needs can be discussed during a free 20 minute initial consultation.
4 session package, 1 parental report email at week 3 – £200
8 session package, 2 parental report emails at – £380 (£20 discount!)
12 session package, 4 parental report emails – £480 (MASSIVE £120 DISCOUNT!)
Group Online Tutoring
Our online group tutoring sessions last around 60 minutes on average and are geared towards GCSE Mathematics examinations and revision (Year 10 and 11).
We run mainly foundation level groups, suitable for those retaking or preparing for exams, aiming for grade 4 and aiming for grade 5. However, if you are interested in a higher level online package, please register your interest on the forms page. This course is most suitable for those sitting the AQA and Edexcel examinations.
The sessions can be booked individually or in bulk, and are capped at a capacity of 10 students.
Single session fee – £15
10 session card – £125
Unlimited Access Pass (access to ALL classes, and saved recordings of the sessions) – £200
The GCSE online tutoring groups run every Sunday (time TBC) from January to April (approx. 18 sessions), and every Sunday from August to November (approx. 16 sessions).
The sessions follow a unique schedule and gain best results when every session is attended.
The rough outline follows a pre-test/mock walkthrough for Papers 1, 2, and 3, two dedicated sessions to each branch of the curriculum (number, algebra, etc.), a revision challenge session midway through*, a revision tips lesson, ending with post-test/mock walkthrough of a similar set of mock papers 1, 2, and 3.
This unique take on revision is accessible at home, it builds on prior knowledge as well as enhancing your child’s revision skills and resilience. The sessions are fun, friendly, and safe, so register your interest below for our Summer 2021 Retake Bootcamp, or our January 2022 Revision Study Group!
